In 1983 Ruben fled the communist nation of Cuba to pursue the American Dream.That same year, Ruben Sorhegui Tile Distributors was founded. In the beginning, he worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. Ruben spent his time helping his wife(Margarita) take care of his special needs son, andbuilding Ruben Sorhegui Tile to the industry leader it is today. He did all this till his very last day: August 25th, 2016. His warm heart, personality, and strong character touched his family and anyone who knew him.

He is missed dearly.
