Ruben Sorhegui Tile is a natural stone, porcelain tile, and mosaic importer and distributor. Located in the heart of Naples, FL, we import unique and groundbreaking materials from around the world.
2. What is Porcelain Tile?
Porcelain tiles are man made non-porous ceramic tiles. They have an absorption rate that ranges from .05 percent to .01 percent, effectively making them one of the strongest tiles in the market.
3. What is Natural Stone?
Naturally formed in the ground, these materials are mined and then honed, polished or brushed to create the timeless look available today. Examples of natural stones include:

5. What are Semi Precious Stones?
Semi precious stones are natural stones commonly used in mosaics. Smaller in size, examples of semi-precious stones are:

6. Where is your showroom located?
Our one of a kind showroom is located in Naples, Florida. We are open from 7:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M Monday through Friday. Saturdays we are open 9:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. Sundays we are closed.
7. Do you stick materials?
With a 55,000 square foot warehouse, we stock over a million sq ft of material.
8. Who do you sell to?
We deal in both retail and wholesale markets.
9. What is a Waterjet Mosaic?
The epitome of custom mosaics,Waterjet mosaics are built by a high pressure water jet cutter. This unique tool enables manufacturers the ability to cut and shape materials to your desire
10. Can my order be shipped?
Yes.We have previous experience shipping all over the world.
11. Can my order be expedited?
Yes. Standard special order lead times can vary. However, we can also provide quotes to air freight your order.
12. Is there a shipping charge?
A shipping charge is only applied when shipping materials from our Naples, FL warehouse.
13. What is a freight charge?
A freight charge is the cost of importing non-stock materials. This charge is added to every special order upon arrival.
14. What are outdoor pavers?
Outdoor pavers are materials with thickness and finish specifically designed for pool and patio areas. These materials are available in both porcelain and natural stone.
15. What is Terra Cotta?
Terra-Cotta is a clay based natural stone. Terra Cotta clay tiles vary in color from red, orange, and brown. Terra cotta can be unglazed or glazed for a less porous finish.
16. What is wood-look porcelain?
Wood-look porcelain is manufactured porcelain in the likeness of wood. Wood porcelains now embody true wood by emulating ridges, patterns, and colors.
17. What is stoneglass?
Stoneglass is an innovative new material that combines the beauty and depth of glass with the strength of stone. This material is offered in multiple sizes including slabs for counter-tops.
18. How long does it take for my contractor/builder to receive material quotes?
Our pricing department will provide material pricing within 24-48 hours of selections being completed.
19. How long will selection sheets be kept on file?
Our proprietary digital selection system allows for indefinite storage of your selection sheet. The selection sheet is easily shareable to all parties involved in your project.
20. Can you provide samples for selected materials?
Ruben Sorhegui Tile Distributors has small sized samples for all stocked materials. For special order items, if the sample is not readily available, we will order the sample for you. Please contact us for more details.
21. Can samples be shipped?
Yes, please contact us for sample orders.
22. Can I make appointments?
Yes, appointments can be made by you, your designer, or builder. This helps ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience.
23. What are cement tiles?
Handmade tiles built by pouring concrete into copper molds and then pressed by patented equipment to create colorful designs.
24. What is Sicis Vetrite?
Sicis Vetrite is a new line of glass materials. Available in slabs and waterjet mosaics.
25. Should I seal my material?
Depending on the material, we can recommend from a variety of Dry Treat products, including, but not limited to, 40SK and Stainproof.
26. Why use slime porcelains?
They are lighter and easier to install larger slabs. You will also have reduced grout joints.
27. Do I use sanded or unsanded grout?
Typically, sanded grout is used for anything wider than 1/8” grout joint and unsanded for 1/16” grout joint or less.
28. What is Glass Grout?
A blend of epoxy with crushed glass, generally used for kitchen backsplashes. It does not require to be sealed.
29. How often should I seal my stone?
It is highly recommended that stone be sealed immediately after installation. How often it will require sealant will vary depending on the sealer and stone.
30. Do you accept credit cards?
No. By not accepting credit cards we avoid additional fees. This allows us to keep our pricing competitive. Alternatively, we accept cash, checks and offer a line of credit to our business clientele.
