Ruben Sorhegui Tile we have established our reputation as an industry leader under the guidance of our founder, Ruben Sorhegui. He fled the communist nation of Cuba in 1981 to pursue the American Dream and founded RST two years later.
Upon arrival, Ruben worked multiple jobs to support his family and begin his path towards the American Dream he set out for in 1981. Under his leadership, that dream has become a reality as RST has grown to be the leading distributor of marble & porcelain flooring, glass, and mosaics in all of Southwest Florida. He was committed to the family business until his very last day: August 25, 2016. He is missed dearly, but his legacy still lives on through the dream he started and the values he instilled in his family and friends.
He established the core values of the company which are still maintained to this day: honesty, integrity, hard work, and teamwork. Through these values, every member of the team is committed to providing the utmost quality of service to all our customers. Client satisfaction has remained our number one priority and still is under the leadership of Ruben’s two sons, Robert and Tony. To this day the two brothers carry on Ruben’s legacy and continue to push his dream forward.
